SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed concerning the significant variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and SRD there's no totally functional office committed to service the area every day. The assistance point designed for intervention ordeals a higher inflow of here opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the office to attend to all people who check out a service read more point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to help the servicing of all shoppers and boost access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
